Leading with Compassion
Formerly known as the Dumb Friends League, Humane Colorado reflects our commitment to serving animals and the people who love them in every corner of our state. While our name has evolved, our mission remains the same.
For more than 116 years, we have been providing lifesaving care for animals, supporting pet families through affordable veterinary and community services, advocating for animal welfare, and helping thousands of pets find loving homes each year.
Our mission is simple and bold: Working with our compassionate community, we will end pet homelessness and animal suffering.
Every purchase from our merch store directly supports this mission, helping provide care, hope, and second chances for vulnerable animals across Colorado.
Thank you for wearing your compassion and helping create a more humane Colorado for animals and the people who love them.
